MP Safety MEWP Training

Course Aim:

MEWPs are widely used in the workplace, often preferred as the best method of access replacing tower scaffolds and ladders. However, operators are often asked to use these machines without any formal training. According to the HSE more worker deaths are caused by falls from height than any other kind of incident in the UK. Falls from MEWPs account for approximately 30 fatalities each year.

This course is designed for those who are required to operate MEWPs. The course will equip you with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to use this equipment safely, protecting both those around you and yourself from harm.

MEWP training provides delegates with the essential knowledge required to operate various types of MEWPs under three IPAF categories 3a Mobile Vertical, 3b Mobile Boom and 1b Static Boom categories efficiently and safely.
